utilitybillcalculator.quest helps UK households understand what they pay across their bills — and see, clearly and honestly, where they could pay less.
What we do
We provide free calculators and estimators for the bills that make up a UK household budget: energy, water, council tax, broadband, mobile, childcare, and more. You can also talk or chat to our assistant, which builds a picture of your outgoings and shows what you could save across your whole financial position — not just one bill at a time.
How we make money (and how we don't)
We are currently in Beta. Our model is simple and consent-first: we help you understand your bills, and — only if you explicitly ask us to — we introduce you to a trusted partner who can help you actually make the savings. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and nothing is shared with anyone until you tap Approve. Where a partner has not yet been assigned, we say “Partner TBC”.
Information, not advice
Everything we show is indicative information to help you make your own decisions. We are not financial advisers and we do not arrange products for you. Our figures use primary sources — Ofgem, Ofcom, Water UK, the Bank of England, HMRC and MHCLG — and we show the date we last verified each one. See our methodology for how we source and check our numbers.
